Privacy Policy

SuitUp VPN (“SuitUp”) is a VPN app for iPhone together with the servers it connects to. Both are operated by GEN-REACH TRADING LTD, Limassol, Cyprus (“we”). We decide how the information described here is used, so under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we are its controller. This version of the app has no sign-up, no purchases, no advertising and no third-party analytics, so the list below is short.

1 Information that leaves your iPhone

Setting up the app

The first time you open SuitUp it creates its keys on your phone and sends our server the public half of them, the iOS version and the app version. The server answers with a random device ID and a random account code. Neither is linked to your name, e-mail address, phone number or Apple Account. We keep them for as long as the installation is in use and delete them on request.

Joining a server

When you tap the bow tie, the app sends the public key of the tunnel and asks for access. Our server gives your device a private address inside the VPN. That address stays assigned while your access lasts and is erased no later than 30 days after it ends.

Choosing the fastest location

To pick the quickest server, the app measures how long each one takes to answer. The measurement stays on your phone.

Connection reports

So that we can see where connections fail, the app may send short technical reports about connection attempts: whether it worked, which server, port and protocol were used, how long each step took, any error code, the app and iOS version and whether you were on Wi-Fi or mobile data. A report carries only the device ID and is deleted after 30 days.

2 Information we never record

We do not log the websites or apps you use, your DNS queries or the content of anything you send or receive through the VPN. Your IP address is not stored with your device ID, account code or connection reports. The app does not ask for or collect your name, e-mail, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifier or payment details.

3 Why we use it

Only to run the service you asked for: to register your device, to connect it to a server and to keep connections working. The legal basis is the performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and, for connection reports, our legitimate interest in a service that works (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not build profiles, make automated decisions about you or use any of it for marketing.

4 Who else is involved

Our servers run at hosting and network providers who process data only on our instructions. Our server may also look up the random account code with Adapty, a subscription-management service, to check whether a paid plan is linked to it; in version 1.0 there are no paid plans and nothing else is sent with the code. We do not sell or rent information to anyone. Some providers may be outside the European Economic Area; where they are, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR provides, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

5 E-mails you send us

If you write to support@genreach-trading.com, we receive your e-mail address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply, and we delete the conversation no later than two years after it ends.

6 This website

suitup-vpn.com sets no cookies and contains no analytics, advertising or embedded content from other sites.

7 Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information about your device, have it corrected or erased, object to its use or ask us to restrict it. Because we do not know who you are, tell us roughly when you installed SuitUp and on which iPhone model, so that we can find the right records. Removing the app does not by itself erase the registration on our server; write to us if you want that done. You may also complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus or to the data protection authority where you live.

8 Changes

If a later version of SuitUp collects anything not described here, we will update this page before that version reaches the App Store and change the date at the top.
